Recently we have had some concerns arise about internet safety and what students are watching, posting, and saying to one another and strangers while online. We have had students communicating on facebook, through playstation games, and live streams on youtube. We have also heard that some of the videos they are watching on youtube are not appropriate. One such video series is called “Jeffy”. This series has puppet characters that use language that is highly inappropriate for students. As we are approaching a long break, and students may have more access to technology, we wanted to share some Technology safety risks and tips.
